What is Taos Bakes Wholesale Program?

Taos Bakes Wholesale Program is a self-service e-commerce platform that is exclusively available for wholesale purchasers of Taos Bakes product for bulk consumption or resale (that are unable to reasonably purchase Taos Bakes products through third party distribution partners due to minimum purchase requirements or accessibility). Unlike Taos Bakes’ consumer-facing website, Taos Bakes Wholesale offers perks such as tax exemption for eligible businesses allowing us to offer our snacks at a discounted price. See below for more Wholesale Partner perks. Please note, Taos Bakes Wholesale will not provide trade spend for third party promotions.

Who is ineligible for participation in Taos Bakes Wholesale Program?

1. Any organization that is itself a distributor or already purchases from a distributor (exception can be made).
2. Any organization that intends to export Taos Bakes product outside of the United States or anyone representing an exporting business.
3. Any organization with a shipping address outside of the contiguous United States (exception can be made).
4. Any organization that resells or intends to resell Taos Bakes product on a third-party online retail site, platform, or marketplace (exception can be made with written authorization).
5. Any organization that our Wholesale team, in its sole discretion, is unable to verify is a legitimate business or non-profit organization. This includes (without limitation) lack of a website, insufficient tax documentation, or other readily available business information.

What is the pricing offered for the Taos Bakes Wholesale Program?

Once your application has been approved, you will have access to available pricing. We offer unique discounts only available to those who qualify for this Program based on objective criteria. Taos Bakes may update these prices from time to time and notify you of those changes at that time.

What other perks are there to the program?

In addition to a wholesale discount, perks include free shipping on orders over $150, sales tax exemption (upon receipt of reseller certificate), access to our full portfolio of healthy snacks, including new items and online exclusives. Plus, our dedicated wholesale team is available to you anytime to answer questions and set your business up for success by providing insights regarding things like merchandising, SRPs, and product recommendations.

Can I have a price list, with UPC codes, possibly in Excel format?

We do not distribute UPC codes or pricing in an excel format. But you can find all of our product information HERE. Upon being approved for the Taos Bakes Wholesale Program and logging into your account, you can view pricing on all our products.

Will I be charged sales tax?

Yes, however, if you’re eligible for tax exemption and provide proof of your exempt status, you will not be charged sales tax. If you’re a reseller, please remember to upload your reseller certificate when submitting your application.

How do I get a better price than what this program offers?

We assess pricing and discounts on an ongoing basis. We make promotions available from time to time based on whether a buyer meets certain objective criteria. If you have feedback or questions about wholesale pricing, please contact orders@taosbakes.com

Can I get a better deal if I purchase a greater quantity?

We don’t offer tiered discounts based on volume on wholesale products at this time.

How long before my application is approved?

We’ll email you within 5 business days notifying you of the status of your application. If you haven’t heard back from us within this time, please reach out to  orders@taosbakes.com

Why was my application denied?

Applications can be denied for several reasons. Please review the ineligibility terms at the beginning of this page. If you feel that your application was denied in error, please reach out to  orders@taosbakes.com

Will I receive a rack?  Any other POS materials?

We have a selection of corrugated and metal displays to help you drive sales available. For POS needs, please contact  orders@taosbakes.com

How do I reorder?

You can reorder a previous order by visiting your account page. Your snacks will be on their way in no time!

Is there an order minimum?

No, but there is an order minimum for free shipping, which is $150. If your order falls below that threshold you will be charged a $15 flat rate fee to cover shipping.

What’s the shelf life for product sold at wholesale.taosbakes.com?

When purchasing directly from wholesale.taosbakes.com, you’ll receive product with a best by date of at least 4 months from the date of purchase.

Can I use a promo code on my order?

Only wholesale-specific promo codes can be used through Taos Bakes Wholesale. Codes that are eligible for our retail site (taosbakes.com) will not work on wholesale.taosbakes.com

Why aren’t all products, such as the variety packs available at wholesale.taosbakes.com?

All our flavors and product lines are available through taosbakes.com, but we do not offer variety packs through our Wholesale Program. Our variety packs are curated and sold exclusively for direct-to-consumer consumption.  

Can I resell Taos Bakes products purchased through the Wholesale Program internationally?

No.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept AmEx, Mastercard, Visa, and Discover. We offer invoicing options on accounts upon review. Please contact wholesale@taosbakes.com to see if you qualify.

Can I send you a purchase order?

We only accept credit card payments, PayPal payments, and invoicing if applicable.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged when your order is placed.

Will you send me an invoice/receipt?

You will receive an order confirmation for your order via email that includes itemized billing for each item.

What is your refund/return policy?

Due to the nature of the product, we are unable to accept product returns. For potential damaged/defective product, it needs to be noted on the delivery POD. If you would like to submit a claim, please contact our team at wholesale@taosbakes.com. Please reach out to our team within fifteen (5) days of your receipt of the product.

What method(s) do you ship?

Any order over 150 pounds will ship LTL. We use multiple Ground shipping providers for orders under 150 pounds. All shipping methods are only available to the contiguous United States.

What are the shipping charges?

Shipping to the contiguous United States is free on all orders over $150. For orders below the $150 threshold, a flat rate fee of $15 with be charged to cover shipping.

What is the processing time?

We process orders in 1-5 business days. Based on your shipping location, it may take about 10 business days for delivery. Please note that rare occurrences outside of our control that impact shipping carriers, such as weather or natural disasters, can delay this.

Do you ship outside of the contiguous 48 states?

Currently, we ship to the 48 contiguous states. We’re working towards expanding to Hawaii, Alaska, and other US Territories. Please check back with us, as this can change in the future!
